LIVERPOOL'S EGOTISTIC OWNERS

Just return from a short break in Prague quite enjoyable. However---- I came across a comical observation by an editor in a recent paper and thought to share it with you all irrespective of whether you are a fan or any other club supporter and just in case any of you hadn't read it. It reads and I paraphrase: It's my proud boast that I have no enemies.I have friends who hate me, but enemies there are none. The same can't be said for warring Liverpool chiefs Tom Hicks and George Gillett, once the Statler and Waldorf of Anfield but now Tom and Jerry. Hicks and Gillett are proof the USA are paying the price for the enlightening immigration policy of the American-Indian---Liverpool are paying the price of two billionaires with an ego problem. The Yanks both think they run Liverpool-- even though every one knows it's Gerrard--and neither wishes to back down that why they are egotists. A confrontation at the Emerates due on Wednesday was avoided only because Gillett was snow bound in Colorado--Hicks is so minted that he probably arranged the weather.Yet he is expected on Tuesday night for the second leg unless of course he flies via terminal 5 in which case he's due around September and his luggage in November. It is sad to see two elderly men bickering like this. If they like this part of the world so much why doesnt one sell his share to the other and then the other could buy Everton.
